I am a not-so-quiet, usually shy, loves to write type of person who likes to keep things simple, and stays away from Drama.  I enjoy the simple things in life and try to remain positive in this messed up world that seems to constantly crumble whenever I turn on the news.  I believe the power of the written word can motivate people to do things they normally would not do, or has the ability to at least leave some kind of impression that is sure to open up the realm of change from deep within.  I truly enjoyed reading materials from Shel Silverstein and Edgar Allan Poe as a youngster, so it is no surprise to me that the poems I write are both comical and dark.  I hope to get a compilation of poems published in the near future.
